Han So Hee and Park Seo Joon’s adventures in the Korean drama Gyeongseong Creature will continue in season 2. Gyeongseong Creature 2 is confirmed to premiere on Netflix on September 27, 2024.
For information, the first season of Gyeongseong Creature takes place in the spring of 1945. This drama tells the story of Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) and Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee) who have to fight for survival and face monsters.
While in season 2, their story continues in modern-day Seoul in 2024. Yoon Chae Ok who survived the spring of Gyeongseong will later meet Ho Jae who is similar to Jang Tae Sang.

1. Ho Jae’s True Identity
In the post-credit scene of the last episode of the first season, a man named Ho Jae turned around and showed his face similar to Jang Tae Sang. Ho Jae who lives in the modern era has a scar on the back of his neck. This raises questions about Ho Jae’s true identity.
Ho Jae himself works as the vice president of Bugang Sagang, a private agency willing to handle any request for money. One day, Ho Jae witnesses a mysterious murder while undercover.
When he becomes the prime suspect, Ho Jae tries to clear his name by tracking down the other person he saw at the crime scene, Yoon Chae Ok.
2. Yoon Chae Ok’s transformation
After eating Najin (a species of parasitic worm) that made her a mutant, Yoon Chae Ok lives in the modern era without growing old. She now helps find missing people under the pseudonym Eun Je Bi.
By chance, she meets Ho Jae at a murder scene. Yoon Chae Ok suspects that non-humans are involved in the case and works hard to uncover the truth.
The changes in Yoon Chae Ok after eating Najin and meeting Ho Jae are one of the things to look forward to in season 2. Will Yoon Chae Ok be able to suppress the instincts and desires aroused by Najin? What kind of relationship will she have with Ho Jae?
3. The Presence of New Characters
A number of new characters will add to the tension in Gyeongseong Creature 2. One of them is Captain (Lee Moo Saeng), the leader of a group of elite agents known as Kuroko.
He has devised a secret plan at the Jeonseung Pharmaceuticals laboratory. His cold, ruthless attitude, and ready to attack without hesitation adds to the tension in season 2.
In addition, there is a Kuroko agent named Seung Jo (Bae Hyeon Seong) who is famous for his extraordinary strength. He does not hesitate to use his tentacles to attack people without hiding his strength.
Seung Jo can immediately recognize Yoon Chae Ok who has similar powers to him and begins to pursue her relentlessly. This adds curiosity to the mysterious events that will unfold around them.
