
Park Shin Hye will soon make a comeback in the Korean drama “The Judge from Hell,” a fantasy Korean drama about Kang Bit Na (Park Shin Hye), a demon from hell who possesses the body of a judge.
Kang Bit Na meets kind-hearted detective Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), a hard worker in her job in the real world, which leads her to embark on a journey to become a true judge.
Park Shin Hye’s acting transformation in this drama is highly anticipated by fans. She plays the role of an evil but lovable antihero judge.
“The Judge from Hell” is also a challenging project for Park Shin Hye who has to show her new side. She shared the reasons why she chose this drama and what attracted her to the role of Kang Bit Na.
Launching Soompi, Park Shin Hye said, “First of all, the script is very fun. I was very happy to receive a script with such an interesting concept when I was considering my next project. The unique story and fresh characters also appealed to me.”
She also added that she was excited because she felt that she could present a different image compared to the roles she had played before.
Park Shin Hye also discussed her cruel character as Kang Bit Na. She explained, “Kang Bit Na is a demon who finds herself in a situation where she has to punish sinners for her own mistakes. She is cold and lacks compassion, and she may seem inhumane because she doesn’t consider the situation of the victims.”
He continued, “However, Bit Na has a fun side and a refreshing, straightforward personality, which makes her seem cute at times. I hope Bit Na’s charm, including her witty dialog and the funny situations she gets into, will be well conveyed to the audience.”
Lastly, Park Shin Hye encouraged viewers to watch this Korean drama and said that she will bring refreshing action and judgment that can take away the mundane aspects of everyday life.
